Knitter's Group
Have a knack for knitting? Would you like to learn? Want to do your part for the community?
Join the knitter's group on the last Wednesday of each month from 10am-2pm. A free shared lunch is offered too.
Knitters of all abilities welcome. Brand new? We'll teach you!
Crochet more your thing? There's plenty for you too!
Can't join in person but still want to be involved? Here's a list of what we're looking for that you can make at home:
- beanies to be given to the Salvo's for the homeless
- rugs or rug squares for nursing homes (40 stitches wide or 1m long strips: takes 4-5 strips to make a rug)
- newborn clothes for refugee families
- beanie and scarf sets for the Cancer Council
All items to be made with 8ply wool please.
Wool donations are welcome also.
